Thomas Fingerote of Philadelphia, PA
Tom was a gentleman and true innovator of the collection industry. He was especially kind to young people, including a young Sid. He was operations manager at the famed Allied Bond and Collection Agency, located in North East Philadelphia. He is credited with developing the “canned collection pitch”. He was extremely successful working, teaching and developing young people into young talent. His contribution to the collection industry can never be underestimated and his legacy will never be forgotten.
John J. Crispo Jr. of Vineland, NJ
John was an industry leader and civic leader in every sense of the word. He owned and operated Collections and Recovery, Inc. out of Vineland, NJ. He served as President of the New Jersey chapter of the American Collectors Association in the earlier 1970’s. He would take young Sid to the annual meetings located throughout the state. He later served with distinction as a member of the Cumberland County Board of Chosen Freeholders (County Commission) . He was a helpful friend to a very young Sid and will always be missed.
Robert J. Boyle of Runnemede, NJ
Bob was a young prodigy of the collection industry in New Jersey. In 1979, while still in his 20’s, he opened Jersey Coast Associates in South Jersey. JCA quickly became the dominant medical agency in the state with a client list that included virtually every major medical facility and practitioner in the New York/ Philadelphia/ Atlantic City corridor. Bob was a friend and contemporary of Sid throughout their careers. His premature and untimely passing in December of 2006 was especially painful for Sid
